An excerpt from Tarsem Singh's 'The Cell' (2000), a stupid yet amazingly designed picture.

  • To say the acting is bad is in this movie is a blanket comment. If anything the only bad acting comes from the two lead roles. However, Vincent D'Onofrio did an impressive job as an actor in this movie. He seems to be an actor who is very underrated, as he has too often been cast into minor roles.

  • Great part, but it really needs the "WHERE DO YOU COME FROM?!" and J-Lo screaming

  • @MrWillamsify cause it is,she's in his dream world

  • This is so dream like :)

  • lol The Giant man women that took the character of ms lopez to that guy with the giant cape, looks like Ms. Man from scary movie.

  • This film is very interesting, original and soooooo underrated. Jennifer Lopez is great actress no matter what. Visual effects reminded me of Madonna's 'Bedtime Story' (video) a little bit. Anyway, The Cell is one of the most overlooked Sci-Fi films of the 2000's (along with Supernova, Mission to Mars, Evolution, Ultraviolet, Equilibrium, Cube 2, Alien Lockdown, Serenity, Signs, Hulk, Avatar (2004), Ghosts of Mars, A Sound of Thunder)

  • Holy shit! Is that the gay spawn

  • lol, how is this movie 'stupid'? It's far more intelligent then 90% of what's made these days. The depiction of a serial killer and his internal world with it's extravagant sense of human experience and the cold, dark mechanical aspect oh himself dominating his thoughts/actions is certainly more realistic then the portrayals we see on TV via endless generic cop dramas. Stupid people see stupidity where it isn't, this was a heavy/uncompromising exploration of the dark side of human nature.

  • very disturbing, but i just realised we dont get movies like this anymore
