Charlie Wilde, On Air, Kiss 100, London, 1997 (Part 1)

Charlie Wilde on the air at Kiss 100 in London. He was the first American to host a morning show (breakfast show) in London. He moved to London in December, 1995, but did not receive his work permit until May of 1996. Even then, the British Government would only issue a permit for 6 months. He remained on the air (due to court battles between Kiss 100 and the Home Office) until August, 1997, when he was forcibly removed from the studio in the middle of a show. He was deported in November of 1997, and remained on INTERPOL's restricted travel list for the next two years.
