Regarding conspiracies, anyone who denies them has there head nicely buried in the sand. Politicians and bureaucrats were capable of conspiracy in the days of Julius Caesar, and they are still very capable of conspiracy today.

And yeah, it does. Israeli intelligence knew exactly what was happening. But then again, France, Egypt, and a whole other handful of countries tried warning us that we were going to be attacked with planes. Bush's administration at least let it happen, and at worst helped orchestrate it. I wouldn't doubt the latter.

In 1968 (?) the US created the gulf of Tonkin BS story. In 1964 the LBJ conspired with Israel to bomb the USS Liberty. On 911 the US-CIA conspired to commit 911.
