The Pierrot Lunaire Ensemble Wien ® is an international appreciated ensemble founded in Vienna by the flutist Silvia Gelos and the pianist Gustavo Balanesco in order to counteract the discrepancy between the reality of the musical life on one side and the dreams of musicians on the other.

The main aim of the ensemble is to offer distinctly different concert programs to audiences and at the same time widen its view and understanding of concerts.
