Mahagany Knights (barn name Wolf) is the perfect horse for someone wanting to jump into the sport of endurance or wants a ready-made horse to continue on in the sport. He is fit and ready to compete in his next 50-mile ride. With his pedigree, confirmation, training, good mind and gaits he should easily make a multi-day or 100-mile horse. All of the training and conditioning has been done for you. If you are looking for a horse that is very well trained, easy to handle, doesn't spook and knows his job, you have found him. He was bred, raised and trained by a professional endurance trainer. Wolf has tons of confidence and trust in people. He is easy to catch, loads and hauls fine, has great ground manners, stands still for tacking up and mounting and eats and drinks at rides. He does not have any vices or bad habits. He also has smooth gaits and is a joy to ride, trotting and cantering down the trail at a steady pace without spooking. He is easy to rate at an endurance ride and easy to ride in a group. He will lead, follow or stay in the middle of the pack. Wolf is also confident when ridden alone on the trail. Wolf knows voice commands for walk, trot, canter, whoa and back. Watch the video to see how easy it is to open and close gates on him. He will stand quietly, back and side-pass to allow you to easily open and close gates. His owner simply wants to reduce the number of horses she owns and thought she would start by selling her best-trained gelding.

Wolf was bred for endurance. His sire, St. Vincent came in 2nd place in his first 100-mile ride. St. Vincent has 955 endurance miles and is still competing. St. Vincent's dam was also a 100-mile horse with over 1300 miles of endurance. St Vincent's sire also competed in endurance. Mahagany Knights' dam, TA Cyganska has over 750 miles of endurance. You don't have to look far in his pedigree to also find famous show horses, including Bask, Padron and Padron's Mahogany. If you would like to see this quality horse for yourself, give us a call and we can set up an appointment. Serious inquiries only.
