  • Is that the salmon that is in Lees shop in Castleconnell, 56 lbs

  • If it's 56lbs and caught by William Ivis in 1914 then yes. What I can't find trace of is the 64lb salmon caught but not recorded - will have to chat with "Shanks" Tuohy to find out

  • Nice to see the old pics , pity we don't see fish like that again on the river shannon, what a pity, its what happens when you dam a mighty river like the shannon will never see that size of fish again.
