GI Swing Dance

The swing dance performed by graduate interns at Teen Mania's Honor Academy. It was performed during the banquet for the Celebration LTE, June 2nd, 2007. It was entitled "Don't You Wish You Were A GI?"

It was filmed by my brother - I'm the one who starts in front of the stage.

(NOTE: I understand that this isn't really swing dancing of any particular variation. None of us are well-experienced dancers, so we were just messing around and having fun, and this was the result)

From a lindy hopper, this is not at all like lindy hop. It's closest to East Coast Swing. But really it's mostly just aerials with some turns in between. It's great that you guys were just having fun. I'm not criticizing the performance, just the labels.

This is amazing! I see some Mobsters in there! Awesome guys! This brings back memories of when my friends and I would swing dance our GI year nearly 5 years ago.... *tear* :D

I'm glad to see the tradition continues...I wish someone would have gotten the last two we did on tape...someone somewhere probably does have it...sadly we didnt think to make sure someone did :)

Haha.. that is awesome. I am glad that someone got this on tape. I wish I could see the HA North's rave.. that would be awesome.
