Banks don't have to pay property taxes on the property they own, but you do. Make banks pay property taxes on foreclosed properties so that cities will still have money to pay teachers etc.

In 2009 we had the opportunity with about half a trillion dollars in discretionary bailout money. But that money bailed out the banks instead of buying distressed homes, which would have pulled the IV drip from the economy.

11:45 I compare the foreclosure mill more like attaching an intraveneous drip of cyanide to a healthy person visiting a hospital. He gets ill. It's not because of the music playing or color of the wallpaper or other nonsense like tax cuts. The sick person cannot possibly get well until the IV has been drained. It does not help to change the wallpaper or the number of federal employees. Sadly there is no unplugging of this IV from the American economy.
