June 29 - July 3, 2010 trip onboard Via Rail Train No. 1 Canadian from Toronto to Vancouver BC. Revenue consist included 19 matched Budd stainless steel cars: baggage-dorm, 3-coaches, 3-Skyline dome cafe/lounges, 2-diners, 7-Manor series sleepers, 2-Chateau series sleepers, and Park series sleeper-dome-observation. Train carried 2 deadhead Chateau sleepers Toronto-Winnipeg and 1 west of Winnipeg. Low-profile dome added at Edmonton for viewing of Rockies. Two F40PH-2's all the way. First scene is LRC corridor train heading out of Toronto behind P42 on June 29, 2010.
