CBSs Schieffer on Ft. Hood Shooting: There Are Christian Nuts Too

On Sundays Face the Nation on CBS, host Bob Schieffer tried to provide some perspective on the Fort Hood shooting, committed by an Islamic extremist: Its looking more and more like he was just, sort of, a religious nut. And you know Islam doesnt have a majority or the Christian religion has its full, you know, full helping of nuts too.

Schieffer made the comments while speaking to Senator Lindsey Graham, who agreed that Muslims do not have a corner on extremism. Schieffer went on to wonder what role political correctness played in the shooter, Major Nidal Hasan, not being held accountable for radical comments he made prior to the attack: Do you think the fact that he was a Muslim may have caused the military to kind of step back and be reluctant to challenge him on some of this stuff for fear that theyd be accused of discrimination or something like that?

Huh? There have been maybe a dozen abortion clinics bombings /doctors killed in the last 10 YEARS!. There have probably been that many Muslim suicide bombers this MONTH.

There is no doubt that there are Christian nut cases, like any other group.

But Muslims have a much higher percentage of nutcases, primarily due to the total lack of democracy in the Muslim world.

actually their are christians who refuse to bring their daughters to recieve medical treatment for diseases because they believe their prayers will heal them. There are also MANY christians who bomb abortion clinics, threaten doctors, or the one who just shot an abortion doctor. There are other christians who have opened fire in gay clubs. Christians are NO LESS or MORE crazy than Muslims.

Last Christian nut I saw was actually putting a gun to the head of an abortion doctor. Don't pretend that there are no Christian "nuts" or that Christians are such victims. Christians spend most of their time with arrogance as they look down on anyone who does not buy into their archaic dogmatic beliefs.

Last Christan 'Nut' a saw was peacefully doing a pro life demonstration with prayer when he was spit on by a woman and then punched by a man (who was then arrested by the cops for assault. Rightfully). The 'nut' was shaken by kept on the scene and did not fight back. Last Muslim nut I saw... The Ft Hood shooter who did something like... what was it?... oh- killed and wounded many, many people.
