relax it's not even out of conference yet. it's reasonable and intelligent to be frustrated with the dems, but unless there is careful organization, targeted on races that can be won, third-party voting is a vote for sarah palin. I like dean and I like weiner and I have not seen the bill they're talking about. like everyone else, all I've heard is other people's interpretations.
If it looks like sh*t, smells like sh*t and is bought and paid for by the insurance carriers, why don't we just cut out the middle man (who is bought and paid for by the insurance industry) and let Wellpoint, Aetna and the others in the industry write this and get it over with???
Make your calls and let them know that a bill that has a mandate without giving us an affordable option is not acceptable.
If you don't have the phone numbers you can find them on my page.
We also need to remember those who have stood in the way of real reform (all republicans, a handful of dems and Lieberman) and vote accordingly in the future.

Well frankly, that provision would be perfectly fine if we had a Switzerland style of regulation.
The complaint though is that you have the consumer mandate, without any meaningful corporate regulation.

If Weiner has turned, what about Grayson. How come he's keeping his mouth shut. At least we still have Sanders and Kucinich.

Weiner thinks 30 million people FORCED to buy private insurance is "an unvarnished good."
This is why the Democrats deserve to lose.
I am only voting third party from now on.
