I suppose I have an unpopular opinion.. But.. this is a different culture, they have their reasons for their actions, as does everyone else. We can call these people whatever we want but it's not changing what is happening. I live in America, and am very glad arranged marriages aren't in my culture, but I won't bash people for their cultures whether I agree or not.

I am an Indian.This is true,but absolutely not welcomed.They don't have the choice to choose later when comes to reality.I really wish all the world should start to love their children with whole heart,mind and soul.Do they ever realize @what century they are in?

This is against the law in India but it's not pursued because there's not enough resources and people are stubborn. But it should be admissible in court as evidence of child abuse.

I'm not saying that this is RIGHT...but it is a different culture and just because the children were married in a ceremony doesn't mean that it wasn't just in "name" only, and consumated when they were OLDER. Children have been betrothed for centuries, even in the cradle and married off very young, sometimes even by proxy. But, the actual "marriage" or joining was not until they were at least teenagers and able to bare children.
