  • Nice video. It's shameful how that idiot corporal treated Hindenburg in his later years.

  • Well, what could you expect of him... He was pretty much all around destructive.

  • Poor Tannenberg - airbrushed from the map of the world by the Yalta war criminals. The Denkmal or Memorial was smashed to the ground by Poles when it became part of so-called "Poland" after 1945.

  • Ehm... whatever... On January 25th 1945, the 299th Infantry Division under the VII. Panzerkorps, blew up several parts of the memorial.

  • @RaeuberPozzenfotz What's the point of keeping German stuff? So that Neo Nazis can have places for pilgrimage? Better erase this to the ground, like the Romans did to Carthrage. This way, there is no place to return. Simple as that.

  • @orson1821, don't call me an Idiot. If you look-up Wikipedia, it clearly states troops from Smolensk. this is clearly part of Russia, isn't it? They were not the main contributors to this battle, but they participated on Polish side because obviously the Teutons were dangerous to everyone in that region. Eastern Europe consolidated their forces against this aggressor to avoid future problems.

  • @rechelieu

fuckin' idiot, there weren't any Russians at the battle of Tannenberg (Grunwald 1410), only Poles and Lithuanians led by Polish King Wladyslaw Jagiello

  • @lonewulf44 Yes, everything else was destroyed by poles after '45

  • Amazing memorial ... terrible shame it's gone. Am I right that the only thing remaining is a few stones in a polish field and one of the German lions used in a nearby town?

  • @DenHvideRose Was that when they removed Hindenbergs body?

  • @mad4669 This place represents two victories...one a little victory by the Germans in WW1 trying to cover up in their propaganda their biggest defeat in Germany's history in 1410 won by servile Pollacks and some fucking Russian animals. Learn facts. This memorial does not belong there because it only shows shame to the Germans and their servile fucking losers, the Teutonic Knights. Again and again, sub-humans trounce your "losing asses" into reality. Drang Nach Osten, what a fucking joke!

  • Hindenburg never liked Hitler. He made his skin crawl. I suppose the feeling was mutual.

  • @DenHvideRose Ehm why? can you please explain?
