Self-immolation in Taiwan to protest against Ma Ying-jeou

An 80-year old long time KMT member set himself on fire in the Freedom Square, Taipei, Taiwan, at 1:00 pm, 11/11/2008, Taiwan time ( = 12AM, 11/11/2008, Eastern Time). He left a suicide note protesting against President Ma Ying-jeou's administration, including: (1) police brutality; (2) forbidding Taiwanese from waving own national flag when China envoy comes; (3) give up title of "President" in front of China envoy.

The event happened in the middle of a student protest against Ma Ying-jeou government. This video was recorded through an online live cam set up by the protesting students.
