man i think this shit is so fucked up, i just switched from virtual dj to traktor, and on vd this is automatic, but here you have to be a scientist to get it right

Traktor Pro does a much better job of automating this process. This tutorial is fairly advanced and more than most people would do.

@GNRule123 double the beat grid on the 70 bpm song. go onto the tab at the top for the style of deck which you want which is extended then on the deck and got to the grid tap and their should be a +x2 and a -x2 button so your gonna use the +x2 button. ;)

@mikewhitford ive used all of them and if your using dvs or a midi controller then it shouldnt matter aslong as youve set them up right and can beatmatch manually... stop flaming people you have never met you stupid troll! i can beatmatch but ocassionally i use either traktor or vdj with a midi controller. sometimes manual beatmatching can stunt creativity. for my live shows i allways use my ears but it pisses me off when musicians put each other down. stop keyboard quibbling.

@Dazzeh1 You should be using a NI audio interface & external sound card. The setting should be audio 6 8 or 10 dj not asio 4 all or realtek.

@nicolas7910 How about using you fucking ears instead of auto beat matching. VDJ is for gaylords who don't know how to beat match

my problem is that my audio settings are still all muddled up. Whenever I use my built in sound card's driver "Realtek" it speeds up the bpm of the song but then when I switch to ASIO4ALL it slows it down. How can I get Tracktor to match the original song's bpm when I hit play rather than adjusting the key? also, the tempo in grid doesn't do anything to the song :/
