Black & White Town (part 1 - Intro)

This is a short skateboarding film set in and around the streets of Blackpool, a small seaside resort on the North West coast of England.

My aim was to showcase one of the finest skateboarding scenes in the UK and to show Blackpool in a very honest way, a way that's not normally shown. This town, for years, has been portrayed as being Britain's most popular holiday destination, crammed with thrills and excitement! This isn't exactly the way I see it!

I filmed most of this on a Canon XM2/GL2 and some on a Sony PD150. I edited using After Effects, once a rough cut was made in Premiere Pro. Colour corrections were done with Mojo.
