  • Somewhere (definitely not up there), Robert Moses is smiling. Or maybe not, since his plans to ram an expressway through Greenwich Village got stopped in its tracks by Village residents. Good for them.

  • oh yeah more cars for the suffocating planet would be a godsend

  • Probably one of the worst NYC xways to travel on...Little fender-benders, and you've got big gridlock...

  • They sure aren't scared to use the horn, are they?

  • WTH. This video was taking on a rare day because the cross bronx is always jam wit traffic 24/7 365 days a year and you move so slow that it doesn't even register on the speedometer.

I drive here every day to work.

  • Except Moses would have nothing to do with public transportation.

  • lol whats the point i mean, isnt the NYS thruway alaways crowded with traffic worse then this?

  • If Robert Moses didn't get the current highways done there would be NO Highways in the NYC metro area. Nimby's would have killed all the road projects. • Bunch of cunty NIMBY's that stopped the Lower Manhattan and the Mid-Manhattan Expressways. Robert Moses was God.

Caro's book the Power Broker was full slanderous lies also, typical of journalists--

  • Ever read "THE POWER BROKER"?.. It goes in depth of all moses baby's. Spetacular Career, covering 48 years, greatest builder of public works the world has ever seen. However.. NYC highways move ok, but in dire need of modernization. When you talk of 20th century NYC,. Its inseparable from the story of Robert Moses, they are one in the same-
