The ROUSH Performance P-51A™ Mustang is easily the highest horsepower Mustang that the company has produced at the time of its release, and represents the first time that internal engine components have been upgraded by ROUSH technicians in their Livonia, Mich., facility. It was determined that the only way to give the P-51A™ moniker its due was to completely break into the 4.6L, 3V and rebuild several of the functional internal components, which include a forged steel eight-bolt crankshaft, forged aluminum pistons with increased dish to lower the compression from 9:8 to 8:6, and forged steel H-Beam connecting rods. These upgraded parts were necessary for the stock Ford engine (which comes with 300 horsepower from the factory) to be able to withstand the additional power generated from the newest iteration of the legendary ROUSHcharger™ supercharger system.

The new ROUSH P-51A™ engine has a preliminary rating of at least 510 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. torque. It is anticipated that final figures may even be slightly higher than this when final testing and calibration is approved by the ROUSH engineering staff.

  • i wanna do this to my mustang

  • @mariolincon Look forward to seeing it...thanks for stopping by!!!

  • What a beautiful car other than the stupid doors. I don't understand shy they call them lambo doors. If you look at Lambo doors they open straight up like a scissor, these so called lambo doors open out and up. How retarded. I've seen people get in and out of these and it looks very uncomfortable. If these people want real Lambo doors than they should save their money and buy a real Lamborghini, so they don't have to waste their money on stupid doors that don't belong.

  • @joevill2008 It seems to be something that people love or hate..I would not have done it to this car...but I think they look cool on some cars..thanks for cking it out!!

  • @ScottieDTV You are right some people hate it and some people love it. I've found that the people who love it, don't know anything about cars. Obviously you know something about cars because you were able to find such a piece of american beauty. Think about returning the doors back to stock and appreciate other cars with these doors. I mean really would you put these doors on a classic like a 57 Bel Air, 67 Shelby Cobra or even any Ferrari? She is a beauty, please consider it.

  • @joevill2008 Just FYI...I don't own this car...I just shot the video...thanks for all the input though..have a great day!!

  • @TommyFerrigno89 Listen Tommy, I'm not talking shit. I know a lot about cars, I know more than you. I have been modifying cars for a very long time. But I guess I'm on a different level than you. I'm more focused on the inside of the car not the outside that only people see. You probably paint your brake calipers instead of actually upgrading the brake kit. I do the real thing like the brakes, suspension, gears, super charger, intake etc. This Mustang is a hot car!! Without lambo doors.

  • @joevill2008 This is kind of childish to say but have you ever heard the saying if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all? Ive had 2 Mustangs an 06 GT was my first car and a 2011 5.0 both have many mods on them so i think I know alot about cars and modding them. I do want vertical doors I think its cool. You posting how strongly you feel about them is getting alittle obnoxious. Before you keep going on and on go look at how big of a company Vertical Doors Inc.

  • *Not have ever seen.... Thank you. - Grammar police.

  • I like it but my opinon , my personally, I would restore everything back to stock and let it be as is. Still a nice car, wonderful collectors item
