Create a mini top hat, inspired by the 1940s style of Fred Astaire with a modern, girly twist.

Taylor Swift wore a similar one in her 2009 CosmoGirl shoot.

You could make this for a formal occasion, like prom, or wear it to make a statement with your every day outfits.

You'll need:
-1 mini top hat [can be purchased at craft stores for about $1-2]
-Black ribbon
-Needle & thread
-Black netting
-Plain hair barrette

i hate living in Mexico when it comes to fashion, crafts and accesories! there is no Michaels here and no ideas where i can get them!, do you know if i could order it online? nice tutorial!

You could also use a glue gun. :) For those who don't want to sew or know how to sew(although that is very easy stitching) Also if you want the bow/netting/clip to NOT come off at all(Wardrobe malfunction!) use Gorilla Glue and let it dry overnight. :)
