It is more difficult to legally own a gun in America than ever. In the 40s, any kid could walk into a hardware store and buy a gun with no ID, no permits, nothing. It's not the availability of guns; it's the mindset of our society. It's television, movies, video games, our narcissistic, greedy, instant gratification culture, our jaded attitude toward violence and, as you stated, our aversion to getting involved. Something is definitely wrong, but it's not the guns. It's us.

I love this; it shows how little you know about the world. If you have any form of education than you know you can research crime statistics in cities where there is a push to remove all the guns from the legal law abiding citizens. If you could look at the facts for once, you would find that places with less restrictive gun rules have much LOWER crime than places with more restrictive gun laws. An armed society is a polite society.

@yesitsfast Although society is a big part of it yes, you see up North with us in Canada, guns are much less available. We are able to make jokes about how America gets these problems cause they have guns accessible for a reason. There are a lot less problems if guns arn't available like that.

this is a funny video but you should be aware it was a felony offense for the VT shooter to own a firearm. How ever Due to Virgina medical laws it was also illegal to enter that a judge had declared him a threat to him self and others and barred him from owning firearms

the laws failed and 32 people on the safest school on in the USA died because a criminal ignored the laws. oh and the school violated the Constitutional right;s of it's students.
