Ray Boswell Lauderdale County Supervisor - Drunk & Using Racial Slurs (starts at 0:40)

(Starts up at 40 seconds) Here's Ray Boswell out on a Monday night, boozing it up at a strip club, getting into trouble with the cops, and using racial slurs. This was Sept 5th, a few days after Hurricane Katrina, when many people were without power and dealing with massive property damage. Local residents depended on their leaders to guide them through the difficult time. What did Ray Boswell do to help his people? Ray acted a fool to the point of cops being called on him. When Ray wasn't allowed back in, he threatened to shut down the business and used the N-word several times.

In a separate 2006 incident, Ray was arrested in Philadelphia, MS for disorderly conduct.

Ray's actions are a reflection of his character.
Ray still remaining in office is a reflection of the voter's character.

Lauderdale County, are these acceptable actions for a leader in today's age?

Ray Boswell is an embarrassment to Lauderdale County and the City of Meridian. He's been a supervisor since before I was born, and I am 35 years old. It's so sad to see that the good old boy network is still alive and well. He may think that the Star has it out for him, but they are just reporting the truth. Let him put his signs all over town. If the people of his district have any sense, they will not re-elect this idiot.
