Ryan, Melisa, Jen, Denise, and Ellen joined the archaeological Temple Mount Antiquities Salvage Project in order to sift through materials dug out from the Temple Mount that hasn't been touched for thousands of years since its various destructions. In our first bucket, Melissa found a piece of a golden bracelet or earring that was a rare find even for the site. We would go on to discover items such as bones from animal sacrifices, glass mosaics, and pottery shards, as well as bits of mortar and marble from the temple itself.
