A chilly winter day provides the backdrop for a little seaplane romp to one of our favorite 80s glam-rock classics, by Loverboy.
The Progressive Aerodyne SeaRey is a magnificent machine with the singular most active owners' group there is, coupled with a superlative factory.
But, water flying places special demands for attitude control and checklist discipline above those of general aviation or LSA flying. Among amphibious aircraft, the gear mismanagement rate is 500% that of complex landplanes; and, when we err and land in the water with gear extended, loss of hull is likely and loss of life is not unheard of.
This series is flown by 20,000 hr ATP Andy Shane, a SeaRey owner since 2004. His opinions do not necessarily reflect those of Progressive Aerodyne nor the SeaRey owners' group.
OK... I don't want to slam Loverboy, but Hoosier Park Racing and Casino in Anderson, Indiania, is their next gig; after that, some obscure place in Canada.
In cases of groups like this who we know and love, why not allow some free publicity and promotion?
The lawyers for YouTube and the music industry need to extract their heads from their #sses and wake up.
Else, us private non-revenue filmmakers AND our audiences will slide right over to Vimeo or a similar site who have common sense.

@andyshangar, Oh come on now, What if you work on something and it just gets used?
Well I guess that if you get some credit for it thats fine... Anyway, load up another You Tube tab and play any music you like and watch the clip again.
HEY YOU TUBE, Can they hear me or what? Make a playlist feature so you/we can load clips into it and let them run.
@Seareyrtech, Whats the location of the airfield at the begining of the video? Is that an airport community in Florida?

That's fine, no audio from a vintage source is allowed, in this case.
Please tell ten of your friends to boycott Warner Music Group.
