This is a tribute video to the most amazing TV actress Rue McClanahan who sadly passed away at June 3rd due to a stroke. She is best known as playing the sexually liberated Blanche Devereaux at the comedy The Golden Girls.
She will forever in my heart.
RIP Rue.

  • Rue you will live forever in the masterpiece you created in Blanche Deveraux. I loved watching you on TV for years, and I loved reading your autobiography book too. I was also lucky enough to once see you in person at a play in Los Angeles years ago; you lit up the whole room! Rue was a true original and I still can't believe she's gone. We love you, Rue. God bless you!

  • @childofthemarshalsea Yeah, Chester, I was just a student too! Late nights hitting (or not) the books. How time does fly!

  • @TashaRichardsonFan Thanks, I hadn't even realized she had passed until a few days ago. Only Betty White now.

  • This was a fantastic job! I'll miss her so much. Wonderful job as always =)

  • I will miss Rue very much. The Golden Girls came out when I was a student and whenever I watch the reruns, it reminds me of those years and what a great time, for the most part, I had then. I guess it may be part of getting older but I can't believe that Betty White is the only Golden Girl left. Once again, a very moving tribute a golden person.
