there is certainly a difference ph.dmission..sociopaths are narcissistic/machiavellian...g
radiose, with an "ends justifies the means" mentality...they would kill if they had to, but do not possess the same ragefilled murderous impulses or hedonistic bloodlusts that a psychopath displays. As the doctor mentioned they sometimes exhibit both traits...psychopathy/sociopath y. A full blown psychopath is much easier to detect than a sociopath though...sociopaths have more control over impulses. -
my names better then yours lol.

Hello,
I'm wanting to be a Forensic Psychologist. I'm currently attending college for Behavioral Sciences. What other types of majors are good for this type of career. I'm wanting to get a Doctorates. Thanks!
It is similar but the show is not perfect!

Interesting - This is really the first I've heard that Sociopaths and Psychopaths are separate entities.
I wonder if Dr. Robert Hare would agree, out of curiosity? I'm inclined to think he would, but I may be incorrect.

Where I studied that is the going theory and the one I subscribe to, but as with so much, there is always someone who will disagree. As for Dr. Hare, I am not sure!

Criminology and Psychology, Good luck!

That is one career as are many others you would be suited for. Study hard. Continue solving puzzles, and if in a few years you still want to be a Forensic Psych, go for it!
