@dan122189 Its kinda a go-to type of thing, like whenever I try out a pedal or even a guitar or amp somewhere I play blues on em - I think this pedal sounds just as good on the blues then on something else

@oboogie2 I own alot of overdrive and distortion pedals and I think maybe you should checkout either the discontinued Zoom Power Drive or the Zoom Hyper Lead-maybe on Ebay for $50-75.Or checkout the Digitech Tone Driver.

For cleaner tone, given a choice between this and a BK Butler Tube Works Blue Tube, can anyone give me their suggestions. I am not into playing heavy metal, but prefer a Gilmour/Knopfler/Mayer/G. Harrison range of sounds.
i hate how a lot of demos r played w/ blues =/ ...

I own the grey version and I think it's great. Very versatile, but you really have to play with it to get it to sound how you want. Since tone preference is purely subjective, the only thing you can do is get one and put it in your chain and see if you like how it plays. There are 1000's of different amp/guitar/pedal combos out there so it might take some time to find what's right for you.
