In the honor of Valentine's day, I decided to make this video.

They shared love in a time of tragedy, a love that was impossible. Nikolai and Anna had a brief moment of love before they both had to walk their own way. Still, they pray for each other every day, only hoping the other is safe and well.

I like the video for the most part. But I don't like how the song was cut/edited. It ends too abruptly, both the video and song. 3/5.

Nice video. Quite a haunting song as well. I was quite intrigued by Nikolai's interest in Anna, which was apparent from the beginning. I've only seen the film twice (in 2 days) and each time I keep wondering, why did he stop after their kiss? What was he thinking in that last frame, sitting at the dinner table alone.

It's such a well-done film. I'm trying to write a fanfic to the story, but we'll see where it goes.

he wants anna - she is his kind of lady. he wants a normal life with anna. there was natural chemistry between them. he wants a family life and sees anna as innocent and fresh. but nikolai's ambition was stronger and maybe also nikolai is too damaged for anna

I also fell in love with this movie and Nikolaï is indeed a deep character which i really like despite his dark sides.

He indeniably falls for Anna, you're absolutely right but he has a mission to carry out. (when the officer from SY visits him at the hospital) and though he'd like to live that romance with her he knows he's not the right personn for her and so he just slips away...

btw i'd really like to read your fanfic when you finish it :)

But what does Nikolaï has to do with Scotland Yard ? Cause when he receives the visit of that officer, they seem to discuss his "infiltration" mission... So on whose side is he ?

I don't see it that way. I see Nikolai as a man with a strong ambition but also a very strong loyalty to Kirill. He would have stood beside Kirill with anything, that was proven countless times. Anna, I think, is a strong woman and not at all innocent. She sees the crime filled world that he is in but is willing to look beyond that to the good within him. From what I heard, there is a sequel to this movie being talked about and Nikolai and Kirill are both in it. No Anna.
