This is called chicken picking, used mainly in country and bluegrass, not clawhammer. Clawhammer is a banjo techinque that sometimes is adapted to other instruments like the ukelele and the dulcimer.

Hi, per the questions asked, yes, this is not clawhammer. It is very nice, though. Clawhammer is a banjo technique involving all downpicking with the back of the nails, and the thumb is on the off beat, and there is very little finger movement cos the hand is shaped like a Claw. What you see here is fingerpicking, not clawhammer.
This is not an put down at all, just a clarification. Nice piece anyway.

Could be. I always thought it was called clawhammer in reference to (1) the shape you make with your fingers, and (2) the way you pluck by pulling the strings up and away from the guitar, just like a claw hammer pulls out old nails. Another commenter has suggested that what I'm really doing is "frailing," though I'd never heard that term before.
