Everyone dies.
Just sailing on the grand line means you're risking your life/accepting chance of getting killed.
Anyone can die anytime,anywhere.
EVERYONE should know that... in the anime and in real life (readers).
It shouldn't be shocking or sad.
On the bright side it would be like the pirate king (roger.)
He had an incurable disease and he conquered the grand line before he died.
Luffy's got limited time to do it as well (if his life is shortening that is...).

@miniwes13 actually as rob lucci really states it puts him in danger of dieing because all his organs are moving so quick it digests all his food and he is in danger of starvation( the reason he was sleep eating after fighting Rob) and the adrenaline doesn't shorten it gives him a boost of energy and allows him to ignore pain until the after effects take place, but yes he took the antidote so 10 years off his life span! but he will live for a long time.

there is chibi in this, u juz hav to use gear third during your gear 2nd mode. when ure in gear second mode, press the buttons that activated gear 2nd again. then luffy will do gear 3rd

Luffy will die when when he's like 30 because:
1. Gear second shortens his life as Rob Lucci said.
2. He gets poisoned and has the antidote which shortens life.
3.He takes that adrenaline stuff from that big headed queer about 2-3 times which shortens his life.
