This is, in my weak speech, an explanation of the benefits of polygyny, lol.

I do much better typing and I probably should have typed it out before I got started. But whatever. I do much better typing, and much better in conversation lol.

@mskiki0520 I touched on belief systems where polygyny is a marital option because I am talking about polygyny in general. I point out which way *I* think is best but there's no need for me to keep it within one particular religious construct.

What makes you think that a man that has been allowed to indulge his lust in this way will want to have sex with ONLY his wives? Most of these households are on some kind of state sponsored assistance programs and/or some of the wives are helping support a hedonistic bastard that only wants to bust nuts more than anything else....I just wanna know who is gonna take care of all those kids when all the adults have AIDS...

@kennethmcdonald100 Actually aside from FLDS the polygynous households I know of personally (about 20) every adult is working and there is no use of welfare or supporting a pimp. As for the AIDS comment, highly ignorant to assume that polygynous households garner more HIV than monogamous ones...especially in a society that promotes monogamy and in some places has more HIV cases than some third-world countries... 0_o

@Marycash43 I hear you on the first point. Polygyny is difficult. On the second point, all I can say is that mankind, on the classification of animals, falls on the side of polygynous animals, rather than monogamous ones... that is a fact... and this type of marital option happens every day in more illicit forms -- mistresses, baby mamas and such. So there's no con game, it's just that some are more willing to admit it than others that it's alive and well and preferable for some.
