  • where is this? I wish I could have people like that around me to help me with my mpd. they are so loving and careing. I need someone other then a counsler who seems so distant and just proffesinal

  • @mybfisapcgeek1 Hi, the video is from around 1993 and is from the USA. Where abouts are u based? Did u find ur own counsellor or were u assigned one? Maybe there are support groups for ppl with mpd or more broader mental health problems u could find and attend?

  • The fact that the dog could automatically sense the change gave me chills.

  • That's little bit strange that a person with such a disorder works as a policeman...

  • @waritgreen I will agree with you. No one seems to like it but accept it as a safe zone I would say

  • @jsizzzle311 I disagree with you only because he said he is aware of what the other personalities do and been up to. So he knows what is happening. And I think this is step one that therapy does?

  • I agree.. No offense but this guy doesn't need to be given a gun at any point. Especially since he's a cop and it can get really stressful out there.

  • @bungie1209 Actually, psychologists and neuroscientists have a pretty good understanding of DID, as do people living with DID. There is a lot of information and study out there if you look for it.

  • this is sad that people have to go threw this terror....

  • The policeman is sort of like a superhero in some way, don't he? That's actually pretty cool, but I don't think he likes having multiple personalities.

  • 7:40 okay there is something more involved in this, something that science is unable to answer atm. it is beyond modern day understanding of psychology and physical science (neuroscience)

  • what if 10 yr old Johnnie was on duty and had to write a ticket to some drunk person or a dangerous person, what does Johnnie do ? He can't even write a ticket or a report......of course, you would say, the alters step up to take control but is this not crazy for him to work a job like this ?

  • The word handler, first an MKULTRA word......what are the stats of power positions having many people in them with MPD, sociopathics, narcissism and combinations there of ?

  • @iceage10ful

this is part of what makes it hard for those of us with DID. There are so many false beliefs and misunderstanding out there.

There are plenty of us that are high functioning and many of us with rules in place. For example, I do not let little alters out when caring for my family, or driving, or well..many things.

DID people are not defective..most work and many work in jobs that are quite high profile. Also, one can heal from trauma just fine while having DID. T
