where is the best place to put the subwoofer? in the front,middle,or in the back .

Ideally the sub should be placed in the corner of your room for the best performance. But you could put it almost anywhere that works for you because the auto calibration mic that comes with the system will adapt and adjust accordingly to ensure the best performance for all your speakers including the sub. Enjoy, the BDVE500W is a great Blu-Ray home theater solution.

Yes it does come with a auto calibration mic. The mic will determine how far away each speaker is from the mic and adjusts each individual speaker accordingly, as well as the connection settings and sound levels.
