Shane Claiborne visits George Fox University

Shane Claiborne, who lives among the poor as part of The Simple Way faith community in inner-city Philadelphia, challenged youth pastors and mentors to live as ordinary radicals at the recent Kaleo conference.

Speaking on the conferences theme, Ordinary Radicals, Claiborne called for Christians not to simply be believers in Christ, but be followers of him ordinary people living radically in the love of Jesus so that his kingdom would become a reality among us. He also shared stories of his encounters with the poor of Philadelphia and working with Mother Teresa in Calcutta.

Claiborne is the best-selling author of Jesus for President and The Irresistible Revolution.
