The Pogles - The Witch (a remake stop-motion animation)

This special classic British children TV series "The Pogles", is remade into TECHNICOLOUR and BLACK & WHITE in stop-motion, featuring the evil witch, which the only puppet made by myself!
The scenes in colours were made by me whereas the black and white scenes are the original ones!
I'm sorry that I only made the witch puppet, because I didn't have time to make Mr and Mrs Pogles!
The original TV series was created by Oliver Postgate, the creator of Ivor the Engine, Noggin the Nog, Clangers and Bagpuss, and also the owner of Smallfilms company.

Absolutely brilliant , i used to love Pogles Wood when i was a little 'un. Well done you.

Watching this episode now, i can't help but see the Witch as "the state"(or govt) and the Pogles as Freemen , keeping their sovereignty (the crown) that the witch (govt.) wants to steal. Kinda applicable in todays big heavy govt. world.
