Load records released New York noise band Sightings fourth album back in 2007.

It is a mostly groovy, screechy, tribal electro skronk affair. All the songs sound like they're hanging together by a thread that is quickly fraying out of existence. This music sound primitive and futuristic all at once. The vocals sound like the drooling remains of a drug addict, reading his poems on atomic dogs and staring at a wall for 3 days.

Load records pretty just releases these kind of experimental, psychedelic space man, cave man kinda albums.

Some songs are a little bit too queasy and pretentious to make the whole album enjoyable, but the good songs are really creepy, so the album is worth checking out. The album as a whole has a very uneasy vibe.

Definitely for fans of Liars, Black Dice and any other noise rock bands you may know of.

3.6/5
