I've watched this video AGAIN just now and I still stick to my original defense that this Guile played him like you're supposed to. He is, was, and always will be a charge character. Forget the wonders like Daigo and Fuson etc. playing him and going super offensive with him...he's basic, powerful non-special move equipped and if you can't handle that, then you just lost the round.

And I think this Guile player is a bum. He's clearly using the "lure trap." Either pelt him from a distance until he dies, or for Ken to avoid it, go in close, where he'll be waiting to counter every move he does. He relies purely on not making any offensive moves or striking first. It;s so cheap.

Why must like, EVERY "American' character in a video game suck or be extra slow because they're the "big, fat Americans"? It's like most players don't even notice, making it even worse.

And Ken's not even really American. Not by nationality; he just happens to live in Seattle, but doesn't have any alliegance to the US (or anywhere, really). He's inferior to Ryu, anyway, the Luigi to Ryu's Mario. And I think he's supposed to be Ryu's little half-brother or something.

I think the Ken player was a bit smarter. He saw the Guile player was clearly uncomfortable fighting up close, and tried to close the gap. Seemed he got hammered doing so, however...

ttran03 tats cuz u play like a pussy. as PROOF from this video we can see that guile only did 2 things sonic boom and just kept punching to stop ken from hitting him. I dont know about you but seeing the 2 players displaying their skills, I say kens a lot better than this guile player

When people start saying turtle, that's when I start going for the chain combos. If you're good at charging while comboing then you basically mastered Guile as an offensive player..
