This scenes was one of the poorer ones written.. I think series 4 would have been alot better if they took the death of Marissa more seriously. This scene in-particular should have been sort of emotional, with really touching music. Dont get me wrong I LOVE the OC, but dealing with marissas death was not done well

This scene is so disappointing... I just don't get why did they use this music background. No matter how poor this scene is, it could have been completely different with another music theme.. and honestly, seems like she's grieving the loss of a pet instead of her best friend's. I loved Marissa, she was my favourite charachter on this show.

@Nationalist1104 I aree I disliked how Marissa always chose those guys over Ryan who was always doing things for her/ getting into trouble because of her. She was a drama queen and downer and Ryan deserved to be appreciated and she rarely ever did. She would always come back crying and apologizing afterwards and admit that Ryan was right( the whole Oliver thing), but would do the same shit all over again.

I am glad Marissa died. She should have died in Season 1. She was a total w***e who has ruined the life of every single guy she came across - Oliver Trask, Trey, Alex (Girl), Johny, even Volchok. She should have suffered more and died very painfully.

@AleXMdN1 i agree as much as i think this scene was well written and rachel bilson did a great job...it was more comedy than anything, even in the part when she was actually crying...i mean they could have done that in 2 or 3 episodes showing how summer was moving on...no in one scene, i was kinda dissapointed
