UPDATE: Had lots of questions about the password - I changed my password for these videos, then changed it to something else. It wasn't the password I was used to typing. People also asked why you'd ever boot up a tablet - I travel a lot, so I have to power mine off before takeoff and landing.
At about 1 minute in, I launch mail and have a frustrating experience. Not sure what I'm supposed to do or how it works. Eventually I left it sitting by itself for about 5 minutes, and it popped up with a screen that said it couldn't figure out what kind of email account brento@brentozar.com was.

Hey Brent, what tripod are you using in this video?

Luke - I'm using a Pico Flex Dolly. It's a dolly mounted on a skateboard-like contraption - really handy for doing videos with a little bit of roll to them.

You can enable 'PIN' or 'Picture Password', so you don't have to use your MS Account password.

Helmer - unfortunately you can't do that if your company uses Google hosted mail and requires encryption on the device. That disables pin and picture passwords. I'm actually the company's admin, heh, and I have those features turned on because I can't afford to have our company emails spoofed.

Not brutally slower? You sure about that. Mail opens in 2 seconds after a rebooted iPad ...

For whatever it's worth, in the initial setup, it lets you add accounts and things. My mail program did not open to a blank screen. I'm not sure why yours did. Also, it takes a long time to load the first time (probably configures settings, etc.) but now it only takes a few seconds to load.

To double click you have to hold your finger on the screen and that is how double clicking is done FYI and please let me know how to setup a pop3 or imap

This would be considered brutally slow by old-timey mechanical hard disk standards, yet the device is running off a SSD

Woooow. We're the witness of the end of Microsoft. Finally. This was their last chance and they wan't up to take it. Soon we'll see their agony. They deserve it.

Slow shit. A mail screen that displays a blank screen? Have their usability designers gone on vacation?
