Thank you for providing this but, you are moving too fast....and your fingers are in the way. I wish you had showed a little more in the beginning. I am a new crocheter. I can't see where the needle goes.

how do you know were to put the other earflap .......is it skip 2 front post an skip 2 half double for both sides

what do you do in 4-6? the same thing as 2 and 3??

@annabug014 The original pattern is from the hat with the stem. If you want to make a pumpkin hat with a stem, you will visit the same tutorial on my main channel to work it with the stem. Otherwise you ignore rounds 4-6, skipping on to round 7. This will make a flat top.

@barbergurl The video is revised from the pumpkin tutorial, which had the stem. Some found it confusing so I revised the pattern and left out rounds 4-6
