This is a demo of how tie the knot of the Parelli Hackamore by 2 Star Instrutor Farrah Green -- See more info at sittinghorse.us as well as step by step directions. Download this to your phone so you can have it with you when you are playing with your horse.
Thank you very much for this demo. I have been searching for one to show my how to do this and yours is the first one I came to that really simplified it. Thanks!

A. It's not a hackamore - It's a HALTER! There are lots of kinds of hackamores, but this is none of them, it's a Halter! Putting reins on it does not morph it into a hackamore! (I've ridden with lots of types of halters, jaquimas, hackamores, bosals, sidepulls, and bits, and I know the difference.)
B. It's not a Parelli knot - it's a mecate knot. He didn't invent anything new.
I guess if you've paid way too much money for something, you'll call it whatever the seller tells you to call it.

Brilliant demo. Just washed mine in a pillow case to avoid it coming undone and guess what ..it came undone!! With the help of your demo it was neatly back together again in a flash x

wrapping to the right is clockwise, not counter clockwise as you mentioned while you wrapped to the right. Otherwise, looks great

Thank you! I came back from TX from a colt starting program and left my hackmore for the barn staff to take my horse in every night and came back to it seperated from the halter! I thought I needed to buy another one, Thanks for saving me money!
