  • All the people who don't believe that gun save lives... It's my insurance that I can protect myself and family the cops show up after the damage is done and write reports! Why do you carry life insurance in case something bad may happen????

  • I commend you super smart anti-gun liberals for being so well read and logical.

You people are just too intelligent to resort to flimsy, superficial arguments, or cheap and vulgar personal attacks.

I commend you for that. Oh, wait...

  • Dear lord, there are people out there who actually think a gun is just cell phone. I think they should cut back on the drugs

  • I got shot with a 45 caliber in new york and if i had a legal gun I would of not been shot. MAKE GUNS LEGAL!

  • Maybe these people need to be schooled in the art of makeshift weapons, it could also get some of those beer guts off.

  • Guns save lives, my ass...

  • love the old lady with the "GUNS SAVE LIVES" badge

  • You mean Texas is not the biggest gun loving state???

  • @nderezic its not

  • I didn't know that living in the US was so dangerous that one needs to carry a gun at all times.

Why don't these people wear bullet proof vests? It would sure be a good idea to ware one, with so many guns around!

One should really consider moving to a safer country!

"i'm just saying that they were made like 300 years ago, so they might be a little overdue... and therefore they need updating to meet the problems of the century"

Just because something is old doesn't necessarily mean there is little or no relevance to the present and future.

As for having the discussion out "in the open," why not? I'd rather keep it open so others can read and decide for themselves.

But, we can agree to disagree and just let it go.

"I feel that the US isn't doing enough towards fighting cartels"

Perhaps, but there are sovereignty as well as policy issues, along with popular opinion of peoples from both countries to consider. If there's no agreement on issues, the Mexican drug cartels remain a Mexican problem; American problems would stem from cartel agents and products crossing the border as well as drug use within America.

The solutions may be simple, but relations are what make it complex.
