So many whiners.

Listen, Brawl is a fighting game. It's a bit different than Tactical Espionage Action. MGS4 is a game filled with sadness. Super Smash Bros. is filled with happy fun fighting time. They needed a faster, more epic version of this song so people who don't know who Snake is would be more interested. Him being in Brawl was a marketing technique.

I don't know which is better, I just know that both versions fit their respective games perfectly.

@Destructoid17 well actually it's a reliable source to my memories about this game... even though I like the actual licence, the Nintendo ports are just not the same from that you get with MGS3 Subsistance... the original games are far different with much better AI, menus and the colours does not want to rape your eyes...

@Gustavos4 Exactly, this is pretty good music but they could have been a little more lenient with the mgs4 osts, adding the un-instrumental version of snake eater, and the love theme, you know, for the lulz.

Metal Gear is Originally an MSX title which is a japanese personnal computer from the 80's made by Sony. the game has been port in the US on NES by a bunch of nobodies who totally missed the point and transformed it into a piece of shit (AVGN review if you want to know how bad the US version is). Metal Gear is NOT a Nintendo licence.
