At the site of Fazarga, between the parishes of Saint Catherine of Sierra, county and district of Leiria, and Fatima, county of Ourem and district of Santarém, there are also some wind mills grinding running. In this first video there is the force applied by the wind, moving air. The acceleration is made winding the sails. The movement is then transmitted to the inside through a mast. The summit is called the hood and at the top, is placed a weather vane.

Vasco Jorge Rosa da Silva, Georg Schmidt, is a researcher in Local and Regional History, History of Science in Portugal [astronomy], Military History and History of Portuguese Limestone Massif, which includes the Natural Park of Sierra of Air and Lamps. Responsible for reading and transcription paleographic, unpublished, of "Memories of Ourém Parish", 1758. Finishing a doctoral dissertation on the "History of the Astronomical Observatory of the University of Coimbra: 1772-1910". He is also friend of Federal Republic of Germany, FRG.
