  • I guess that beats by i7 920 w/3gigs of ram &500gb hd.... but hey, my LexaBlackline case looks much cooler!

Nice cooler... I read they're about to start making chips with cooling lines built in !!!

Nvidia might be doing that already I'm not sure.

  • @mikefromspace What i7 with 3 gb of ram only? I just swapped mobos and got a sivk gigabyte 870a-ud3, and probably will try to overclock it to 3.8 or 4ghz, my current windows performance rating is around 7.4-7.6 and then my hardrive performance is like 5.4 lol.

  • @ArchangelCLK I think so, mother is a p6tse asus,.... I really want to get rid of it because the quick start browser feature does not work on windows7, truly a big ripoff.

Suggest to me a good motherboard, think I'm ready for a change when I get a new video card also. Have now a gforce (zotac)260gtx I think; first to use 3d.

Maybe someday I'll be able to realize my dream of using my tech to make chips using concentrated positrons- no heat produced.

  • @mikefromspace check out overclock . net for intel board recommendations, even if you dony plan on OC, this is the best forum. Also what kind of stuff do you do on your computer?

  • @ArchangelCLK I do cad, blendering, and recently made something that for the first time ran far too slow in rendering. Not sure what plans I'll have for my home pc in the future, but what I really want to do is make a supercomputer (yes really) which runs as a cloud server for a massive online multiplayer game I call Span, where all players can free roam an entire planet, mine, and build block by block, castles that float in the sky, etc... See my 144ghz chip video4 more info on the idea.

  • @mikefromspace oh ic, interesting stuff about the 144ghz chip.
