U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), a senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC), today questions Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Mike Mullen about the U.S. strategy in Afghanistan. Inhofe focused on force strength, timetables, training of Afghan forces, and the defense budget.

  • And then the military draft will necessarily be brought back on line

    OOPS, except there will be many more draft dodgers and deferrals; especially from the supposedly rich and elite groups, just as happened before

    BHO is quite good at giving waivers to those major donors that support HIM with finances ^_~

  • Apparently BHO, et al, are now attacking the pensions & benefits, including Tri-Care, of 20-30 yr retirees

    Talk about a 'hollow' force! Wait until those under 20 yrs realize their compensation for putting their lives on the line 20+ yrs for America is to be reduced; & in some instances completely removed, 'then' there will definitely be a Hollow Military Force because those on duty now will leave the military - job or no job. Happened before under Carter, but this time many more will Op out
