Thanks for confirming it is not in the Qur'an. It is in Hadees which was compiled 250 years after The Messenger based on hearsay.

lesson from this 50 prayers is that Allah never change his words, each prayer a muslim make is equal 10 prayers and we must make 5 prayers a day, so 5 x 10 = 50,you won't find in the Quran, it is from the hadith which is the authentic saying of the prophet Mohammad,

This story of Messenger going back to God and bargaining 50 prayers down to 5 is a strange story not found in the Qur'an. It has no logical basis 50 prayers a day means no time for anything else to do and also implies that God did not know what was good for His servants??!!! Then it also shows Muhammad needed Moses to do the right thing!! In other words to put Moses over Muhammad. Now if this does not point to a fabrication, I don't know what else will
