North-side (directly behind the Comverse Building). Caught this yellow perch on 8/22/10. This was one of four. Largest was 6"--this little guy wasn't the largest :-).

Visit takemefishing.org. Great online resource.

  • I was using a white plastic tube with a spoon. Always seems to work for the perch. I'll try that white dough ball & corn trick. I know there's some good sized bass in there b/c I've seen them pop up by the boat docks. Any spots around the lake that are better than others? I've fished by the cemetery on the North Ave side & by Comverse. Still looking to hook a 2lbs+.

  • @nickoo2nickoo2 if u use doughbait or corn you can catch monster carp. The carp completely took out most of the population, you just have to hook on corn, a few sinkers, and a bobber for weight. A few weeks a go i caught a 8lber and you get them almost every cast!

  • What are you using for bait. I fished that lake 3 times for a total of 6 or 7 hours... never got a bite or saw a fish
