Angels & Airwaves - Valkyrie Missile (Over Airwaves Cover)

This is our most ambitious cover to date. We both really love the original track and realised no one had ever taken the immense challange that this presents to do a complete, yet original, cover.

Shaun rewrote the musical score and transcribed the whole song into Acoustic with Les Pauls used for added effect and backing. The whole instrumental was completed without any use of computer generated effects, the only effect used was Electric Amp Delay. Having taken 30hrs of recording and mixing Shaun then sent the instrumental to Cody in USA.

Cody added Synth effects as required and beefed up the Bass a little too. Having spent over a week passing the almost completed cover backwards and forwards we finally achieved our desired aim and Cody completed the Vocal arrangement.

The video was edited and produced by Shaun. His first attempt at such a project and he tried to capture the emotion and feelings of the words both him and Cody felt AvA have tried to deliver through their original version.

We both hope you have the same rush of emotions and feelings as you watch and listen to our cover.

Im in the 'British' Armed Forces..How would I forget them!!! There are quite a number of clips of 'British Military' through the video but by far the better 'available' footage was available from US sources. :)
