NOTE: There is no Eruption in this video. Mr. Scary was too long. So if you don't know Eruption, google it. It's a short, but awesome song by Van Halen.
Anyways, just got this off of my Beast From The East cd. In my opinion, both songs are great. I consider this under the same category as Eruption, but I personally like Dokken and George Lynch more than Van Halen, so maybe that makes it a biased opinion? Oh well. They're both still awesome bands. In the end, I believe Mr. Scary both live and studio, are better than Eruption. Not by a lot, but a little.

whether Mr. Scary is a musical and Eruption is just a spotlight, it shouldnt matter..you should be able to hear the sounds and technical skill technique of both...i could easily listen and able to hear..both are great guitarists but I have to go with Lynch

Lynch and VanHalen are both awesome guitarists and Eddie was one of Lynches Idols. Both have awesome tone!
