For a start "most" Aussies aren't the kind of Aussie that is mistaken for racist. Most of them are reasonable peaceful people. Secondly, most of those who are mistaken, aren't. A common trait among Aussies is the tendency to "stir". And I'm sorry to say, not much is sacred to the they who stir. But they don't "discriminate", as they are generally very self-effacing and a stir is a bonding invitation to stir back. This breed of Aussie IS intolerant; But only of "sooks".
